Day 10: 303 lbs.
Surprisingly, I dropped another two pounds at today's check-in. I was convinced that yesterday's drop was just water.
Over the past several days, my average weight loss has been around 1.5 lbs per day. If that's "real" weight (and not fat), then that implies that I'm burning around 4,800 more calories per day than I'm consuming. Since I've been consuming 1,500 calories per day, that means that I must be burning 6,300 calories per day.
This sounds too high.
But not impossible.
According to an Internet calculator (who knows how definitive that is!), someone of my weight who is "very active" and does an hour of moderately hard exercise per day could expect to burn over 6,000 calories per day. I never considered myself "very active," but it is possible considering that our house has three floors and I spend a meaningful amount of time chasing the kids.
I think, though, that it is more likely water weight (still).
In diet news, I stuck to my 1,500 calories yesterday and logged 30 minutes of chopping wood. Yay me!
