Day 34: 297 lbs
I popped up a pound yesterday.
I think I know what it might be causing some of the day-to-day weight fluctuations: dill pickles.
I've gotten in the habit of buying a big jar of dill pickles at Costco on Mondays to snack on during the week. Pickles are very salty, and so cause my body to retain water. So during the beginning of the week, when I'm munching on pickles, I gain weight. But by the end of the week (and over the weekends), the jar of pickles is gone, and the water passes out of my body.
Anyway, this theory is no more goofy than others I can think of.
