Day 9: 305 lbs.
I shed another pound today, which came as a surprise. Especially after dropping two the day before, I figured my weight would be level at today's check-in. Something gave me terrible gassy runs for a few hours last night, and I suspect it was those Kemp's Sugar-Free Pop-Jrs. Ah, thanks guys, and I'm sure your product is a great diet aid, but I don't want to wind up accidentally bulimic. I wouldn't be surprised if my weight pops back up a pound at tomorrow's check-in.
But either way, losing the first ten pounds is a milestone, so pop the, er, diet ginger-ale and celebrate! Just don't forget that the first ten pounds is also the easiest ten pounds.
I also logged 300 calories of exercise yesterday, thanks to it being the weekend. That was 15 minutes of chopping wood. I had intended to do at least a half-hour, maybe an hour, but got chased in by the rain. Oh well.
And so far, I've managed to stick to 1,500 calories or less each day except one, and that one was the day I forgot to log part of my lunch, so it was an accident and not temptation. Doing well so far...
