Day 48: 295 lbs.

No change in weight since yesterday.

I'm starting to get really frustrated here. I have to proceed on the assumption that this plateau in my weight is a temporary phenomenon, but doggone it, I wish I could see some progress here.

My weight today is the same as it was over two weeks ago. That's better than gaining it back, but at the rate I had been losing weight before, I should be five pounds less.

I don't know if my body is just retaining a lot of water for some reason (in which case I could drop a lot of weight really fast and should catch up to where I should be), or if I'm gaining muscle mass faster than I'm losing fat (in which case my pants should be getting looser, and my average calorie burn per day should be going up), or if I'm not doing as well on my diet as I thought I was.

Only time will tell.

All I can do right now is stick with the diet and keep tracking my progress.
