Day 50: 294 lbs
I dropped a pound since yesterday. That's something, but I'm holding back celebrating until I get below my low of 290.
That was two weeks ago now, for those keeping track.
At my prior rate of weight loss, I should have lost nearly ten pounds in that time. Instead, I'm four pounds heavier.
Fourteen pounds above the former curve. Argh!
I really don't have any idea what's going on. Perhaps it could be that I'm really not sticking to my diet as well as I thought. For example, maybe the portion sizes I'm measuring are all wrong. Or the rare temptation I succumb to is not as insignificant as I hoped.
Whatever the case, I need to be extra-vigilant and get back on track. The diet is not just a (probably permanent) feature of my lifestyle, it also has to be a major priority.
