Day 100: 274 lbs
One hundred days of dieting! And 41 pounds gone!
That's about a third of the way to my goal. So I should reach my goal after 300 days of dieting. Of course, then I'll probably be still dieting for life (though not as intensively) to avoid putting all that weight back on, as happened after the first time I lost a lot of weight back in my college days.
I lost two pounds yesterday, and stuck to my Diet Commandments. The one transgression was that I took some of the food samples at Costco when I was doing my grocery shopping, but I made what I think was a reasonable guess as to the calories I consumed. I have an excuse: my whole family was stuck for almost here hours while they put new tires on our minivan, so the temptation was pretty intense (with the kids running around excitedly trying everything in the store.
Tonight I'm off the Vegas for a couple nights. Not exactly the most diet-friendly place in the world, but I hope I'll be able to make it work.
