Day 156: 267 lbs
I lost two pounds yesterday, but went about 300 calories over my 1,500 calorie quota. On the other hand, I spent about two hours splitting and hauling firewood, and that's really good exercise. I also measured all my portions carefully, so other than going over my calorie count, I stuck to my diet and followed the Diet Commandments. I'd call it a 6/10 for sticking to my diet.
In order to refocus on losing weight and try to get out of my diet rut, I'm going to try something new. Each day, I'm going to think of a reason why I want to be 195 lbs (my goal) and post it here. This may tax my powers of creativity after a week or so, but we'll see how it works.
So, to kick things off:
Today I want to be 195 lbs because I have to fly to San Francisco tonight, and airplane seats are only designed for skinny people.
