Day 188: 263 lbs
I shed a couple pounds yesterday, and hit a new low weight in this diet. That feels nice.
I did well on my diet yesterday, avoiding the temptation of overdoing it at lunch. The key at lunch seems to be avoiding stuff I can't easily measure portions (like potato chips), and stick to things that come pre-measures or sliced (like a sandwich or packet of ramen noodles).
Today's lunch will pose a potential challenge, though. Today is our son's parent-teacher conference, and I will be joining my wife for that right around lunchtime. Eating lunch at a restaurant is almost unavoidable (nor do I really want to). So I'll have to work hard to not go overboard, since it is easy to get carried away. Some of those restaurant lunches are big. And I'll probably have to have a light dinner.
