Day 235: 273 lbs

I stuck to my strategy yesterday of avoiding any eating between meals. Easter dinner was big, though, and I still wound up about 500 calories over my 1,500 calorie quota (that's an estimate, and the actual number could be higher). I also gained two pounds.

Today we're back to the regular routine, except that I now have my new rule: No Chips. I hope that will keep me on track better during the work week. I also am going to be less forgiving of myself when I don't stick to the diet. Remember, at the beginning of my diet I was very strict. There was no such thing as an excusable transgression. But as time went on, I got complacent, and eventually slipped off my diet completely.

If I want to be successful, I need to be strict with myself again.
