Day 255: 269 lbs

Yesterday was a good diet day, and I dropped another two pounds.

Of course this is "easy weight" as my body gets rid of fluids and my digestive system empties as I get back on diet. But it still is nice.

Of more significance is that yesterday was the first weekend day in probably a month or two that I actually stayed on my diet. I wasn't quite as perfect as I was on Friday, but close. Other than allowed "free foods" like fresh garden vegetables, I measured (almost) everything I ate. The exception was dinner, where I had a salad and one slice of pizza. The pizza was easy to figure out, since that chain happens to have its calorie counts loaded into my diet software, but I had to guess the calories of the salad.

The real challenge will come in a few days, once the easy weight is lost and I start to feel the real hunger pangs. But this is a promising start (or re-start).
