Day 273: No Weight

I'm traveling again today, so I didn't have the chance to weigh in.

Yesterday I was very good about my diet, and actually came in well under my 1,500 calorie quota. Not all of that is due to virtue, since my flights were scheduled across dinner hour and the bankrupt airline I was flying on didn't serve a meal. Actually they offered a "trail snack" for a $1.00. No thanks. I had a small sandwich before boarding my first flight in the late afternoon, intending to get more on my layover.

But when I got to my layover airport nothing appealed to me, and I didn't have enough time to go hunting around the airport looking for anything better.

Then my second flight was delayed after boarding, and by the time I arrived at my destination everything was closed.

So I basically had just the small sandwich for dinner.

I was a little hungry when I got to my hotel, but nothing I couldn't deal with. Which is good, because I need to re-learn that I don't have to et a big meal every time I feel a little bit peckish. It's OK, even good, to ignore a slightly-hungry feeling.

Today might be a bit more of a challenge. I'm on a business trip, and the client I'm visiting has promised to show me her favorite lunch hotspot. But even if I eat a big lunch, I figure I can probably skip dinner again. There's nothing good to eat at the airport anyway.
