Day 368: 270 lbs
I dropped two pounds yesterday, so I'm back to where I was Sunday morning before I broke my diet.
I only had one minor slip-up on my diet yesterday, and that was going about 20 calories over my 1,500 calorie quota. That was a mistake, though, and not intentional: I ate one and a half nectarines after dinner thinking that they were about 40 calories each, but the diet software said 66 calories each.
Even so, going over quota is one of those behaviors I need to be very careful about. Mistakes happen, but it can easily become a habit, and if it becomes a habit, then it becomes easy to slip off my diet.
One think that helped a lot yesterday was having lots of fresh veggies around to snack on. I brought some to the office, and had some at home, too. It let me fulfill my oral fixation without consuming a lot of calories.
