Day 374: 269 lbs

I didn't quite stick to my diet yesterday at the State Fair, but I didn't do that badly either. I probably went about 500 calories over my 1,500 calorie quota for the day (but I didn't keep as careful track as I should have--that was part of the problem).

For the most part, I managed to avoid fair food. I had lunch before we left, and resisted a lot of temptation while there. All I ate during our six-hour excursion was one ice cream cone and a cup of diet soda.

In fact, the real problem came after we were home again, when I gave in to temptation after dinner and had a snack.

Today is my mother's annual make-spaghetti-sauce-on-Labor-Day get-together. I can count on a big spaghetti dinner afterwards.
