Day 378: 273 lbs
Okay, I don't know what happened to my weight yesterday. Four pounds in one day is a big jump.
I did go a couple hundred calories over my 1,500 calorie quota yesterday, but I gave myself permission. During the afternoon, I was sorely tempted to break my diet. I actually prowled around the office kitchen looking for a high calorie snack, but there were none to be found so I stuck to fresh fruit and vegetables.
So after dinner, I had about 50 calories left and I let myself have a big bowl of strawberries and milk (about 250 calories) as a reward for not going completely off my diet. It was a tough day but I made it through.
I had thought that the cravings meant that I was actually doing the right thing--cravings are a normal part of a successful diet--but I'm not sure what this four pounds is all about.
