Day 379: 270 lbs
I broke my diet yesterday.
I was doing actually quite well until late in the afternoon when I started getting hungry. I was supposed to meet my family at the mall, but I arrived a little early, and so I spent a while in that toxic state of being hungry and surrounded by junk food.
Now that the damage is done, the question is what can I do to avoid this in the future? Not getting into this kind of situation is a good start, but not always practical. I suppose I could lobby shopping malls to start having vegetable carts, but I doubt that'll go anywhere.
Maybe what I should have done is hunted for a distraction--a hobby store or computer store--and hung out there until my family arrived.
