Day 407: 279 lbs

I slipped off my diet yesterday, and gained a couple pounds. Ugh.

I realized this morning that right now is the idea time to be starting a new diet: I've got no business travel or vacations between now and Thanksgiving, no major celebrations, and no other special events which might make it particularly hard to stay on my diet.

The problem is I need to figure out how to satisfy my oral fixations without eating stuff with calories.

Fresh veggies are always good, but I don't always have that option.

Coffee works, though after a certain point I need to be decaf.

Tea might work, too.

Sugar-free popsicles work, but they aren't quite calorie-free. Close, but I can go through a box at a sitting, and that adds up. Plus it gets expensive.

Maybe I just need to keep a pot of decaf coffee available all the time.
