Day 500: 283 lbs
I feel like the 500th day of this diet blog should be some sort of milestone.
(cue theme music)
Okay, good enough.
Yesterday was a reasonably good diet day. I stuck to my quota of 1,500 calories and measured my portions, but I will admit to sneaking a few bits of chocolate cake that my wife was making (actually, the bits she had cut off and discarded). I lost a pound, though that's not nearly enough to make up for the six I gained on my slip-up day.
But give it time. Resisting temptation is a skill which must be practiced. I will practice more today.
