Day 51: 292 lbs
Dropped a couple more pounds today. That's progress, but I'm not ready to celebrate yet.
I spent several hours working in the yard yesterday: mowing the lawn, splitting firewood, and hauling logs. The diet tracker software says that's good for almost 2,500 calories of exercise. I don't know if that's a realistic number, but hey, it can't hurt.
I think I might have overdone it a little on the yardwork: afterwards I was really stiff, and this morning I slept until 9 AM even though the rest of the family was up by 7:30. Usually I'm up by 7 AM on weekends, and my wife sleeps until nine.
The good news is that I'm actually running out of firewood to haul. We have a huge amount of old firewood in our backyard, and one of my goals for this fall is to get it all up the steep hill so that it's near the house and usable this winter. The remaining firewood is only an hour or two's worth of work to haul up the hill.
