Day 22: 301 lbs

No change in weight since yesterday.

Today marks the three-week point in my diet, and I've lost 14 lbs so far: 2/3 of a pound per day.

For those keeping track at home, that means that I'm burning about 2,000 calories more per day than I'm consuming. Since I'm consuming about 1,500 calories per day, that means I'm burning an average of about 3,500 per day.

That sounds about right.

Now there's a new diet challenge I've discovered I have to worry about: figuring out dinner calories. Lately I've been very good about calculating exactly how many calories for breakfast and lunch; and with my busy work schedule the past week, I've hardly been tempted to snack at all.

But then dinner rolls around and, well, I seem to get a little lazy about calculating calories. I really should be measuring portions carefully, since that's the only way to know for sure that I'm entering the right numbers into my tracking software. But I don't.

I suspect I may be going over on my calorie quota at dinner because of this. So my new resolution is to do a better job of tracking my dinner calories.
